Sanctuary Stops: Animal Sanctuary Compassion Tour

The Animal Sanctuary Compassion Tour is our 10,000 kilometre road trip across Canada and the United States to visit and volunteer at animal sanctuaries and raise awareness about animal welfare and compassionate living.

From mid-September to the end of October 2018, The Seva Life will be visiting more than a dozen sanctuaries as we travel west across Canada (from Hamilton, Ontario to Vancouver, British Columbia), south to Portland Oregon, and back east through the northern United States (heck yes twice through the rockies!). We are traveling in our minivan, which we have converted into a stealth camper van, with the goal of being low-waste, and offsetting our carbon footprint.

Here are the sanctuaries that have kindly accepted our invitation to be part of the Tour! We will update the links as we complete our visit with each one. Please consider learning about the amazing work that they do, the incredible animals who live there, the special humans who care for them, and what change-makers like you can do to help make the world a more compassionate place:

The 10 Acre Woods (Anola, Manitoba)

Free to Be Me Animal Sanctuary (Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan)

Twin Heart Animal Sanctuary (Tappen, British Columbia)

Happy Herd Farm Sanctuary (Aldergrove, British Columbia)
